I have always loved words and reading! I excelled from an early age in school in English classes, having always been placed in the advanced placement or gifted and talented class groups. I am very enthusiastic about teaching, and am dedicated to spending time helping students learn and enjoy words.

I start by greeting a new student and identifying the problem(s) in their work. I will ask the pupil what they think their weaknesses are, and why they might be experiencing hardships in a certain area. Once we establish what the difficult subject matter is, I develop a simple, personalized lesson plan tailored to the individual. I am best suited to help middle and junior high school students who are struggling with spelling, grammar, and comprehension.
