About Sheldon

Hello! I'm a passionate and dedicated history and social studies tutor with a deep love for the past and a keen interest in understanding how societies have evolved over time. I have previously taught at the middle school and high school levels before turning to tutoring, which allows me to more easily meet individual students where they're at and personalize their learning.

About the lesson

I believe that history and social studies are more than just dates and facts; they're about uncovering the fascinating stories of human civilization. My teaching approach is interactive and engaging, encouraging students to think critically and explore the connections between the past and the present. I use a variety of resources, including primary documents, multimedia, and real-world examples, to make learning both enjoyable and insightful.

Former teacher and lifelong learner, passionate about making history relevant and fun for students of all ages!
