About Madeline
My name is Madeline! A lot of people call me Maddie. I'm a former public school teacher who loves to help students learn and grow. My specialties include English and Spanish tutoring. Outside of teaching, I love to explore, run, travel, cook, watch tv, play with dogs, and spend time with my friends and family. Fun fact: I took formal piano lessons for 15+ years, so if you ever need help reading music, let me know!

My teaching method usually includes:
-discussing what YOU, the student, needs help with
-What have you tried already?
Lesson plans would then be catered towards our discussion. I follow the format usually of introducing content with examples, and then we jump right in to practice together!
As a tutor, I'm energetic, fun, open-minded, and understanding!
Lessons are provided for K-8 English or Spanish reading/writing, as well as 9-12 English reading, writing, test prep, Spanish tutoring, and university level English composition, rhetoric, literary theory, etc.
