About Ali

I know what a career transition really feels like, because I've lived one. I moved from petroleum engineering into marketing and sales, and today I'm a results-driven business development professional based in Shenzhen, China, with 5+ years of experience closing deals across B2B and B2C markets. My work sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and storytelling — but more importantly, I understand the fear and uncertainty that come with reinventing your career, because I did it myself.

I've worked in HR, business development, and marketing — all with zero background, straight out of an engineering degree. I built these skills from the ground up, and I can show you how to do the same.

I'm also multilingual — I work fluently and professionally in English, Chinese, and Persian, across pitches, content, negotiations, and localization — and I'm backed by certifications from the University of Pennsylvania (Marketing), Google (Digital Marketing & E-Commerce), IE University (Branding), and Rutgers University (Influencer Marketing), plus a Master's degree (3.96 GPA) from China University of Petroleum.

Whether you're switching industries, returning to work, or starting from scratch, my goal is simple: give you the practical skills and the confidence to get where you want to go. No prior background required — just a willingness to learn.
