About Kendall
You don't have to be a genius to ace a standardized test. I know they can be intimidating, and they're designed to appear daunting. Even students who feel they know the subject like the back of their hand will do poorly if they don't understand the structure of the test and if they don't recognize the patterns in the questions. That's why HOW you study is even more critical to your success than WHAT you study or how MUCH you study. Through a consistent method of analyzing questions and taking practice exams, I was able to achieve a PSAT score of 1470 in 10th grade, an ACT score of 34, and an SAT score of 2180 in 2015 (equivalent to 1450 in 2024), which were critical to my acceptance to my dream school of Northeastern University. I know that with the proper motivation and equipped with test-taking skills, any student can go into a test session with confidence, knowing that they can achieve the score they desire.

Are you a high school student motivated to improve their standardized test scores in preparation for applying to colleges? I'm here to help! I'll work to understand each student's most challenging subject areas and break them down into approachable and manageable lessons. The biggest key to doing well on these standardized tests is understanding the format and the structure of the questions. Once you can recognize patterns in the types of questions asked, you can more easily and quickly find the right answers and move through the test with ease. My area of expertise is English (reading/writing/grammar), but I am confident tutoring in all subject areas.
