About Sara
Hello, I am an experienced tutor with 8 years of at-home tutoring and 4 years of in-school teaching. I cater to beginners through advanced learners of all ages, with a focus on language conversation.
Additionally, having studied the fine arts and acting, I can assist with text comprehension and pronunciation for performance prep.
I believe in making learning enjoyable to keep you eagerly anticipating each lesson, while I maintain a balance of firmness and flexibility with my students.
Treat our sessions as your personal language project—I'm here as the guide to take you from point A to B.

For beginners, I empathise with the challenges of language immersion, prioritising confidence-building in areas where you feel you need it most before progressing to less daunting topics. Advanced learners, your needs also guide our focused sessions, progressing in order of priority and tailored specifically to you.
Conversational skills are honed based on your specific needs—be it for work, school, or personal life. Lessons typically last an hour, but flexibility is key to meet your unique requirements. With a focus on practicality, I leverage your personal interests to enhance memory absorption and I encourage constant language use for optimal fluency.
Open communication is crucial; share your desires and needs, enabling me to craft a customised lesson plan.
