About Mina
I feel very comfortable in a teaching position! I started tutoring my peers in English related topics through the national honors society when I was in high school studying creative writing. I then carried this experience with me as I got to college, majoring in English as well as interning as the editor for our college magazine where I met with students to go over their writing weekly. I now hold a profession in tutoring middle schoolers as a reading intervention tutor where we implement phonics and work through cognitive linguistics.

My teaching philosophy is founded on the belief that students deserve to feel like they are able to conquer whatever they put their minds to. My lessons will be geared towards the specific students area of struggle. Learning with me will be challenging, but not without feeling fun and rewarding.
