As a former educator, I take pride in educating students in various subjects to help them be successful. Literacy is important at any age level, and many find it challenging due to a lack of engagement. Throughout my classroom experience, I have learned how to make engaging lessons that prove literacy is not just a requirement, but something that can actually be enjoyed.

Each lesson is personalized to the student based on previous small group lessons taught in a traditional classroom.
Communication is key and information about progress will be provided throughout the tutoring sessions.
A typical lesson plan will include word practice, literacy games, and a selection of texts based on the student's reading level
Although I am most certainly able to work outside of the 6th grade range, I prefer to work with students in grades 2nd-6th
As a tutor, not only am I a former classroom teacher with ample resources, but I tutor with the same passion I had in the classroom.
