I previously taught elementary school for six years. While most of my time was spent in 4th grade, I have experience in almost every grade thanks to college and other opportunities. I currently hold an active teaching license and have a lot of passion for helping students succeed.

My lessons are aimed toward elementary students (kindergarten -5th grade) who need help with the basic elements of reading, writing, and math. Some of these topics include story elements, theme, summarization, main idea and details; grammar, narrative, informational, and persuasive writing, spelling; math facts, place value, fractions, and more.
I truly believe that having a strong foundation helps students to be successful. Mastering the basics is essential to future progress and growth.
