About Dalton
Hello, if you are interested in US history, ancient history, or the history of philosophy, I would love to tutor you. History is a challenging thing to study and getting help from a tutor makes sense. My hope as a tutor is to inspire some confidence and curiosity about something you find interesting.

I try to teach history with an emphasis on questions and not on memorizing facts. For example if I were teaching about the 1950s I might ask why do some historians refer to this period as an age of affluence? This approach really allows you to focus on core ideas.
I am a good tutor because I taught at the college level for a number of years and because I like to work with students on an individual level. I would consider my lessons for any history student that is in high school or early college.
