About Tina
I’m currently studying at the University of Melbourne. But outside of university life, I’m not really sure how to understand this society and place. Sometimes I feel like an outsider here. So I’m really keen to learn more about Aussie culture and connect with more people from different backgrounds. I’m also a pretty fun person! I enjoy sports like scuba diving and boxing. I love watching movies in my free time. Oh, and I have a cat, even though I’m actually allergic to cats.

Hi there! I’m a Chinese international student currently living in Melbourne. You could say I’m a bit of a professional internet surfer — I love blending Chinese memes and English humor, and I’m pretty good at finding the connection between them (yes, I can explain “YYDS” ).
I’m also into classical Chinese literature and poetry — so if you’re curious about ancient wisdom or romantic old-school phrases, I’ve got you covered. I speak a little Japanese too (ほんの少しだけ), and I’m always open to learning more languages and cultures.
My English isn’t perfect, but that just means we’re on the same level — we can learn from each other. Learning Chinese with me won’t be boring, I promise. Let’s make language exchange fun and full of good vibes!
