About Margaret
I am a former biology professor with over 20 years of teaching experience in Maryland, Georgia, and Florida. I have taught and tutored individuals and groups of up to 100 students. I have both lecture and laboratory experience in general biology, biology for majors, botany, and microbiology.

I tend to use the Socratic method - using examples, questions, and reasoning - to improve the student's ability to think critically. Through interaction with students, I determine whether they are tactile, auditory, or visual learners and direct them to methods that will help them learn concepts and gain confidence in answering questions.
