About Sachin
I am a professional economist with both strong academic credentials and extensive real-world experience in economic policy and analysis. I graduated in Economics from the University of Bath, one of the UK’s leading universities for the subject, before beginning my career at the Bank of England, where I worked on short-term inflation forecasting and economic analysis.
Alongside my central banking experience, I have advised local authorities on economic development, regeneration, and inward investment strategies. This enables me to provide students with practical insights that go beyond textbooks and help them understand how Economics operates in the real world.
I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping students build confidence as well as academic success. My lessons are carefully tailored to each student’s goals and learning style, whether they are preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels or professional development. My approach to tutoring is centred on making Economics engaging, relevant, and accessible by linking theory to real-world examples and current economic events. I believe students learn best when they understand not only the concepts, but also how Economics shapes government policy, business decisions, and everyday life.
I use a structured and student-focused teaching methodology, tailoring lessons to each student’s ability, confidence level, and learning style.
