About Miranda
I am a licensed teacher K-6. I formerly taught 1st grade for 4 years. Currently, I am the reading specialist at my Elementary School and have been teaching struggling readers how to read for 3 years now. I am trained in the Orton Gillingham method.

I am a licensed teacher and am trained in the Orton Gillingham method. I believe learning how to read is one of the most essential & crucial accomplishments one can achieve in life. In my seven years of experience, my favorite moments have been watching the lightbulb come on when I teach my students why our language works the way it does. I love equipping struggling readers with the tools and knowledge to successfully learn how to read.
