About Mako
Raised in a Japanese family but having lived abroad for most of my life, I have grown to love the beautiful culture of Japan. Through tutoring, I want to spread my love for Japanese culture and make tutoring fun and enjoyable! Don't worry, I know how hard it is to learn a new language - that's why with my lessons, you will learn natural, conversational Japanese taught by someone native in English and Japanese :)

My lessons are focused around YOU, and tailored to what each student wants to achieve. Writing, listening, reading, or simply just having casual conversations, my teaching is highly flexible and will help you improve in the method that works best for you. Typical lessons will be 1hr-1.5hrs, with small tasks set in between lessons. Previously, I have experience with helping out in English-Japanese cooking lessons for children. Lessons are for absolutely anyone, regardless of age or level!
