About Madison
My name is Madison, and I am a first-time tutor dedicated to helping students build confidence and reach their academic goals. As a student pursuing a Bachelor of Science, I know what it takes to succeed in math, science, and English.
I believe that learning should be encouraging and not intimidating. As a kid, I struggled with learning techniques in math and sciences. Now I am pursuing these subjects as a degree, which just goes to show how much you can grow with some help. My lessons can be tailored to your preferential pace and learning style to make this learning experience as helpful as possible. No matter what we are studying for, I will be there to support you every step of the way!

My tutoring approach focuses on building confidence and fostering independent learning by teaching students how to learn, instead of feeding them answers or focusing on memorization. This helps students to tackle complex assignments on their own.
We will connect abstract biological concepts to real-life occurrences and processes. We will use visual memory techniques and active recall to learn and master these different biological processes. You will be a biology pro in no time!
My biology lessons are for high school students and first year university students taking anatomy, physiology, and molecular biology or genetics.
