About Jacques
Hi, I'm Jacques, thank you for taking the time to look here. I'm 26 and have studied psychology for 10 years. It remains one of the only things from school which continues to interest me just as much now as it did then! Please look at what any session might look like to understand who I am as a teacher. Outside of psychology, I love sports (honestly, too many to count), gaming, reading, writing (songwriting specifically but I won't be bringing that into a session), and being in nature. I'm laid back and easy going, happy to have a laugh about things, but I am also very objective driven - so I will be more serious and intense if it is required. End of the day, I want us to both enjoy the sessions AND for you to end it feeling you have made progress!

My typical approach is collaborative and interactional - I do not want to spend an hour talking at you! You can expect: - 1 hour sessions - Tailored visual aids - Support with current education path (GCSE/A-Level), psychological interest/hobby, or workplace psychology. - Homework provision (optional) - Suggested reading (optional) Do NOT expect: - Notes for you to copy (original notes help you remember!) - Lengthy contact outside of lessons (anything that can be covered in a lesson will be covered in the next lesson) - Provision of physical materials (I will point you to free resources online) I have 5+ years of teaching work and hold a BSc in Forensic Psychology. While I believe learning should be an interactive experience, we can work together to understand what you wish/need to learn and structure sessions that best suit you. There is no one right way to teach information.
