About Alba
I am a New York State certified foreign language teacher (Spanish, Italian, & French) and have tutored and taught over 5,000 students since 1990. I have a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Spanish and Spanish-American Language, Literature, & Culture and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Spanish & Secondary Education (Grades 7-12), with a Minor in French.

I have tutored and taught students of all ages and abilities (children, adolescents, and adults), from preschool to community college and beyond, at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels, in Spanish, Italian, and French. I use a communicative approach, emphasizing the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and incorporating vocabulary, grammar, and culture throughout, all while taking into account students' individualized learning styles (auditory, visual, tactile, and kinesthetic).

Details
My rates are the same ($30/hour), regardless of the level. All lessons/classes will be done online/remotely.
There will be no charge for canceling more than 24 hours in advance of a scheduled class. A charge of $30 will be applied for canceling less than 24 hours in advance of a scheduled class.
