About Frances
For many years, I lived in a Spanish speaking country and taught foreign languages at the college level. I have a native command of the language, and hold a doctorate degree. I have a passion for teaching and for motivating students to learn a foreign language.

I gear my lessons towards the student's particular needs in learning the language, in oral or written competencies. I take into account the student's goals in the language, whether he/she needs help with an ongoing course or whether the student needs the language for work or travelling purposes. The contents that I provide are based on authentic, real life, situated use of the language, and I encourage the student to use the newly acquired forms in different contexts, through the work in class or for homework.
