I have a long history of playing folk music with chords. I have hundreds of easy songs to learn with appropriate strumming techniques. The songs are from the seventies/ eighties ( eg. Blowing in the wind, Take it easy, Lightfoot, Dylan, Harry Chapin, Eagles etc

I start by teaching five basic chords that open the door to hundreds of songs. I encourage drill practice to ease the transition of chords, supply the words and chords and evaluate progress through facetime observation. Personal favorites are incorporated if the skill level is comfortable.
