About Jayson
My name is Jayson, and I am a proud graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Statistics from the University of Pretoria. In addition to my academic qualifications, I hold a certificate in Applied Data Science from WorldQuant University, which has further enriched my analytical and technical expertise.
Since 2019, I have dedicated myself to the rewarding field of tutoring. My journey began with a passion for mathematics and problem-solving, which naturally evolved into helping others achieve academic success. Over the years, I have worked with diverse students across various educational levels, from secondary school to university, through different tutoring platforms and companies. These experiences have equipped me with the skills to adapt my teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
My specialization lies in Mathematics, Calculus, Statistics, and programming. I have proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, R, and Python, which I incorporate into my lessons to provide practical, real-world applications of theoretical concepts. By combining statistical knowledge with programming, I aim to give my students a comprehensive understanding of the subjects, preparing them not just for exams but for future challenges in their academic and professional lives.
