About Haley
Hello, my name is Haley. I am a recent graduate from the University of Ottawa in Social Sciences. Having grown up in a small town in Quebec and attending French school, I am fluently bilingual in both of Canada's official languages. I have work and volunteer experience in a daycare and elementary school and absolutely love working with children.

My teaching methodology is a student-centered approach to learning. I believe the student plays an active role in the learning process and participation is key. I love to facilitate their comprehenion of materials and am very flexible and understanding as every student learns differently.
Technology is a wonderful tool for learning and provides so many resources, however I also like to take it back to the basics. Handwritten notes and reading books aloud work wonders on pronunciation and expanding French vocabulary. These human interactions also give the student a confidence in the new language.
