Hello! I’m Vaishnavi, a native Telugu speaker with a deep love for the language and its cultural richness. Currently, I’m pursuing my higher education in the UK, and teaching Telugu is both a heartfelt passion and a meaningful way to support myself during my studies. Growing up with Telugu as my mother tongue and studying it through my school years has given me a strong foundation. I’ve also tutored children aged 5 to 15, helping them not only learn the language but also connect with the values, stories, and traditions that make Telugu so special. My goal is to help Telugu-speaking children and young adults, especially those living outside India, stay connected to their roots in a fun, engaging, and culturally enriching way. About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring Telugu As a native Telugu speaker with a strong academic foundation in the language up to Class 10, I bring both fluency and cultural understanding to my teaching. I have experience tutoring children aged 5 to 15, especially Telugu-speaking kids and young adults living in the UK who want to strengthen their connection to the language and culture. Teaching Methodology I use an interactive, student-centred approach that blends structured learning with fun, creative activities. Each lesson is designed to build vocabulary, pronunciation, comprehension, and cultural familiarity through: Exploration of new Telugu words through conversation and visual aids Reading and reciting simple and famous Telugu poems to build rhythm and appreciation Moral storytelling to enhance listening skills and cultural understanding Interactive activities like role-plays, riddles, picture-based exercises, and word games to reinforce learning in an enjoyable way Lesson Duration Each session is 1 hour long, with a balanced mix of listening, speaking, and reading activities to maintain focus and make learning enjoyable. My Qualifications and Experience I have studied Telugu until Class 10 as part of my schooling and have tutored children between the ages of 5 and 15.
