About Thobeka
My name is Thobeka Msomi. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Honors in Film and Television from the University of the Witwatersrand and am currently completing my Master's in Filmmaking. I am fluent in isiZulu and English, with working knowledge of Sesotho.
I have worked as a professional researcher on documentary productions, conducting interviews and community engagement in isiZulu. I am reliable, well-organized, and committed to my students' progress. I tailor every lesson to the individual and maintain a structured yet supportive learning environment.

My isiZulu lessons are conversational, cultural, and tailored to your level. Having used isiZulu professionally in community research and oral history interviews, I teach real, living language — not just textbook Zulu.
