About Caroline
Bonjour! I’m Caroline, a native French speaker living in Devizes. Having moved to the UK 18 years ago with almost no English, I fully understand the challenges of learning a new language. For over five years, I’ve been teaching French through real-life context and conversation instead of boring grammar books. I love connecting with people and making your learning journey joyful and memorable.

Fluency Through Connection: Master Real-Life French with Native Tutor, Caroline
Bonjour! French is my native language, and I have lived in the UK for 18 years.
When I first arrived in London, my English was almost non-existent. I chose full immersion to learn, and that incredible experience taught me that a new language must be learnt in context. Associating real-life situations with vocabulary makes learning quicker, more memorable, and much more fun!
This is exactly how I teach. If learning with traditional grammar textbooks has never worked for you, I can absolutely help.
My lessons are tailored for:
Holiday Prep: Learn practical, everyday phrases for an upcoming trip.
Skill Building: Improve your speaking confidence, whatever your current level.
Fluency Maintenance: Keep your French alive through relaxed, regular conversation.
Exam Support: Practise conversational confidence for school or business.
I love people, culture, and stories. I truly believe that when you add happy moments to a learning experience, you absorb the language much faster and build a strong, genuine desire to learn more every time.
Rates: Starting at £35 per hour (depending on whether lessons are online or onsite in the Devizes area).
