About Honor
Is speaking your biggest challenge in English?
I help Spanish speakers to feel more confident and communicate clearly when speaking in English.
I focus on speaking skills in English and my goal is to help you speak more naturally, fluently and confidently.
In my classes you will learn to:
- Improve your speaking style and pronunciation so you communicate more clearly.
- Develop vocabulary and strategies for professional situations.
- Feel more relaxed and confident speaking in English.
I am a CELTA (Cambridge) qualified teacher with over eight years of teaching experience.
I have spent many years working with Spanish speakers and improving my own Spanish. I understand the problems Spanish speakers experience and the frustrations and anxieties that come with speaking another language.
I have a lot of experience of teaching and public speaking with people from different backgrounds and cultures. I can help you improve not only your English, but also your professional communication skills.

In our first class we will talk about what you find difficult about speaking English and I will analyse your speaking so we can identify what your barriers are to speaking fluently. Then I will create a plan that we will work through together.
My classes are very practical. In every class we will learn some language or pronunciation and then we will practise it using real life examples. I will ask you for examples from your situation so we can practise the English you need and then you can use it immediately.
I specialise in pronunciation and spoken communication. I will help you improve your English sounds, intonation, and rhythm so that you can speak more clearly, naturally, and confidently. We will also work on expressions and communication strategies that will help you organise your ideas more effectively, avoid getting stuck for words, and correct common mistakes so you can communicate more successfully.
I have experience working with different kinds of students but I find my approach is particularly useful for business professionals who find English is holding them back in their career and want to make rapid progress in speaking.
English does not have to be a barrier to success in your job and future career!
