About Antoine

My name is Antoine, I come from the south of France, near Perpignan, between the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenees mountains. I currently live in Agde, by the sea. I am interested in different languages and cultures, I have studied English, Japanese and German, and I would like to study many more languages!
I'm also interested in music, I play guitar and saxophone, and I'm very curious about all instruments and all musical genres!
On the sports side, I like snowboarding in winter and beautiful hikes in summer, I'm more of a mountain guy!
I have been married for 7 years, I have 2 little girls, who are 4 and 2 years old, and very happy with my little family!

About the lesson

I decided to become a French teacher following a trip to Japan, and I have kept the same passion for teaching ever since! I obtained a Master 2 in this field in 2014, and I then taught in several French schools in Montpellier (LSF, Accent Français...).

Here are some of my experiences and skills:
- 7 years of experience as a French teacher, i.e. approximately 10,000 hours of lessons (in classes, private lessons, cultural workshops, preparation for DELF DALF, TCF/TEF exams), face-to-face or by videoconference.

- I have taught adult students of all ages (16 to 86 years old!).

- I have taught many nationalities (including: Japanese, Germans, Swiss Germans, English, Americans, Mexicans, Indians, Spaniards, Italians, Koreans, Chinese, Qatari, Iraqis, Lithuanians, Russians, Romanians, Australians, etc. ..)

- I teach at all levels, from complete beginner (A1) to very advanced level (C2 - translation/interpretation level) adults (16 years and over).

- I also offer preparation for DELF/DALF exams, all my students passed the exam successfully.

- To make contact, I always suggest a 30-minute interview, to get to know you and define your objectives with you. I then design a personalized educational progression, based on the CEFR, which we can update regularly.

- During the lessons, we will speak French only, focused on developing together the listening ans speaking skills, while the reading and writing skills can be improved through homework exercices in autonomy, followed by a personalized correction together .

- The activities are based on various authentic documents (articles, videos, sketches, news, podcasts) which present French cultural aspects.
