About Georgia Passi

Hi! My name is Georgia, a university student with a love for English Literature & Language, and a genuine interest in helping others develop their confidence and skills.

Having studied English myself in GCSE and A Level, I understand how difficult the subject can be to grasp sometimes, but once you have the right support it definitely becomes a lot more straightforward. Personally, throughout my studies I consistently struggled with specific areas such as following an exam structure, however once I had someone explain it to me one-to-one I noticed a huge improvement in how my writing flowed whilst remaining concise. Because I loved the subject so much, I found it easy to pick up on useful exam techniques, especially when analysing texts. Going through the process of trying to improve my writing, and seeing my hard work pay off in the end really encourages me to want to teach others, and to help them skip the difficult part of struggling independently. With my help I believe we can target your needs in a way that helps you find enjoyment in your writing.

I’m friendly, very patient and encouraging. I want my lessons to be a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing at their own pace.

My approach to tutoring is very personalised- tailored to what each individual student needs. I understand that every student has a unique style of learning, so my aim is to target their specific needs through effective communication and practice, rather than a generic lesson plan.

Whether you’re looking to strengthen your writing, prepare for upcoming exams, or improve your understanding of any English topic, I’ll work with you to identify exactly what you need help with and build our lessons around it.

I aim to create a friendly and relaxed environment for students to feel supported in their learning, and to ensure they feel comfortable in asking for help. Making mistakes is a natural part of improvement, so I want my students to build confidence in their own abilities. My goal isn’t just to improve grades, but to help students genuinely understand the subject and how to write effectively, whether that be creatively or following an exam structure.
