About Amelie
Hi! I’m Amelie, a first-year Psychology student at the University of Canterbury. I’m passionate about helping students feel more confident in their English and enjoy learning. I achieved Excellence endorsements in NCEA and have a strong background in Speech & Drama, including a Grade 8 Trinity qualification with Distinction. I’m friendly, patient and approachable and I enjoy adapting my teaching style to suit each student. I understand that everyone learns differently and my goal is to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving their skills.

I can help with essay writing, reading, comprehension, grammar, vocabulary and general English skills, as well as NCEA assessments and exam preparation. I aim to make lessons engaging and easy to understand while helping students build their confidence, improve their skills and develop effective study techniques. Whether a student needs help with a specific area or ongoing support, lessons can be adapted to suit their goals and ability level.
