About Matthew
I am a first year student studying psychosocial and psychoanalytic studies at the University of Essex in Colchester, UK. I achieved a sociology A-level from The Bedford Sixth Form, achieving a grade A. Within my university course, I strongly apply my sociological understanding and I am extremely familiar with sociological concepts and theories.

I primarily base my classes on open discussions regarding the key concepts, allowing students to develop their own perspectives and engage in a critical examination of such concepts. There will be a strong emphasis on the theoretical underpinnings of the content and, additionally, the memorising of certain theorists, as this is what examiners for sociology love to see.
