About Abdal
My name is Abdaljawwad Nassar and I'm from Palestine but lived in Japan for most of my life. I'm 18 years old and graduated from a private IB high school in Japan with high grades. Most notably, my overall grade was 36/45 and my grade for Mathematics was 6/7.
My passion for teaching and learning came from when I started to push myself in my studying during late high school. I felt signifiant satisfaction when I saw the hard work pay off and I want to be able to motivate others to do what I was able to do at the same or earlier age.
While I was in Japan, I was hired by a tutoring company which taught me many skills to get a student to want to learn and the best way was to pretend that the lesson was just a casual conversation to make them feel more comfortable. If they were young enough, I would incorporate small games and capture their attention. Older students were more focused but I still kept it casual and behaved as if I was a friend from school.

In high school, my subjects at higher level were Mathematics, Geography, and Business and Management. My standard level subjects were English, Biology, and Japanese. Therefore, am flexible enough to teach any of those.
When I teach, I will always summarize the basic information to make sure the student has a good foundation and speed up learning in the future. In the past, I've mainly tutored English but I can teach math as well since I help my siblings with their math.
Usually, my lessons were 45-60 min and taught students aged 3-14 years old. I've taught A-Level textbooks and other third-party textbooks supplied from the tutoring company I worked for.
