About Tylar
I am currently studying psychology at university and I am interested in clinical psychology. I believe that psychology is a very interesting subject and my passion for it can inspire excitement in students when studying.
I have research experience within developmental psychology. I also enjoy biopsychology and forensic psychology a lot. Once again, this interest within the field can be used to spark a more genuine interest for psychology within my students. Genuinely enjoying what you study is essential in keeping high morale and resilience when working. My ability to encourage this will help keep students motivated and enjoy studying rather dreading it.

Psychology GCSE and A level lessons
Education and experience
- Psychology undergraduate at the university of Kent
- A at psychology A level
- Psychology research with UCL professors
- Classroom assistant for English students (aged 11-14)
- Assistant first aid trainer for children (aged 4-12)
Lesson structure
- Lessons can be either 30 minutes or an hour long
- Discuss which topics the student struggles with
- Focus on completing practice questions on these topics
- I will provide model answers as an example for the student
- I would then discuss what makes the answer good
- Then the student would answer a similar question
- I would then have them answer a similar question again without aid in the following lesson to ensure they have understood
- This structure will continue for the same topic if the student is still struggling or we move onto a new topic
