About Katharina
I am a first-year teacher who specialized in outdoor learning. I am currently teaching a grade 1 class. My mom is an early literacy and numeracy teacher, which has given me a lot of tips and tricks to help students who are struggling to decode, read, or understand letter names and sounds! Whether that is through speaking, using physical objects, or incorporating games/toys.

I love to do hands on learning for students and not just reading a passage from the paper. I like to incorporate activities into my lessons to make sure the student is enjoying what they are learning. I will do what ever is best for the student and their needs. I am geared toward grades K-3!
