About Jereece Paten
My name is Je'Reece, and I am a first-year Psychology student with a passion for learning and helping others achieve their academic goals.
My own academic journey has taught me the importance of effective study techniques, good time management, and building confidence through understanding rather than memorisation. I enjoy explaining concepts in a clear, patient, and encouraging way, helping students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I offer tutoring in English, Life Sciences and Geography. My lessons are personalised to suit each student's learning style, whether they need help understanding difficult topics, preparing for tests and exams, or improving their overall academic performance.
I am reliable, professional, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated. My goal is not only to help students improve their marks but also to develop the confidence and skills they need to become independent learners.
I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your academic goals.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, supportive, and tailored to each learner's individual needs. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to match their learning style, pace, and academic goals. I focus on building confidence by breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations and encouraging students to ask questions in a comfortable, judgement-free environment.
My lessons are interactive and structured, combining concept explanations with worked examples and exam-style questions to reinforce understanding. I also help students develop effective study techniques and revision strategies that they can use independently.
A typical lesson begins with a review of previous work to identify any areas of difficulty. We then cover new concepts using clear explanations and practical examples before working through questions together. Each lesson ends with a summary of key points and recommendations for further practice to ensure steady progress.
My lessons are suitable for primary school or high school students, particularly those studying Life Sciences, English or Geography. Whether a student is struggling with the basics, preparing for tests and examinations, or aiming to improve their overall performance, I provide personalised support to help them achieve their academic goals and build their confidence.
