About PRISHA
Hi, my name is Prisha and I am a first year medical student at the University Of Nottingham. I completed my A levels in 2023 achieving A*AA in psychology, biology and chemistry. To further expand my academic education, I wrote an undergraduate-style paper researching the ethical question ‘Should organ transplantation be restricted to healthy people?’ Undertaking this inquiry allowed me to gain an in-depth understanding of the organ shortage crisis, and the importance of justice in ethics - both topics that often come up in medical interviews. I took up a school project on ‘Optimising mental health in health care professionals.’ I concluded that this remains an under-recognised problem in the NHS and highlighted the importance of self-care amongst health care workers.

My teaching style includes regular 1-2 hours sessions implementing active recall techniques to help remember content, completing past paper questions, creating effective and realistic revision plans and making sure answers to questions are fully comprehended to gain a deeper understanding of content. I can provide lessons for levels year 7-9, GCSE and A level Biology.
