About Arush
I am a first-year mathematics and statistics undergraduate at the University of Warwick. I hold three A* grades at A-level, including A*A* in Maths and Further Maths, as well as top grades in Maths IGCSE and the OCR Additional Maths FSMQ. I am also in the process of writing informal university mathematics preparation books with a collaborator, and I have informally tutored many of my peers throughout the A-level process. I have a deep love for maths stemming from the beauty of abstraction and my enjoyment of approaching abstract puzzles.

I try to teach maths in a way which provides justification for everything; instead of just memorising formulae to plug numbers into, I want to teach people where the formulae come from and how they were derived. I hold 3 A* A-level grades with A*s in Maths and Further Maths and finding where the formulae came from helped me to develop intuition for them, and helped me teach many of my peers and help them develop the same intuition. Lessons can go from 1 to 1.5 hours, for anyone whether they are studying for 11+ or for their Further Maths A-level.
