About Thomas
I am a first year chemical engineering student at the University of Manchester.
Having recently gone through my A-levels I understand the struggle that often comes with trying to understand difficult topics as well as how easy it is to get burnt out with revision.
My aim is to ensure that students can be confident about their exams and build sustainable revision habits so that it doesn't become overwhelming.
Having also just started university I can also help you navigate the application process and deciding what you want to study.

My lessons will bridge knowledge gaps and help students master their weaker topics in order to build the confidence to excel in exams.
Lessons begin by breaking down difficult concepts into accessible steps. This will then be reinforced with exam-style questions to both test full understanding as well as build familiarity with the exam format and technique required.
Having mentored GCSE students at school I have built my teaching skills and have been able to build confidence and achieve significant improvements in understanding from these students.
Lessons are catered to year 12 and 13 (AS & A-level) students of all ability in a structured 60-minute format.
Having navigated these exams recently, I understand the common exam traps, and efficient revision techniques that can boost grades and lead to high confidence.
