About Sabrina

I'm Sabrina, a first year dentistry student studying at the university of Birmingham.
I enjoy teaching as it gives both my tutee and myself a sense of accomplishment when a subject matter is explained well and understood. I wish for future students that studied the same subjects as me to have a smooth journey to their dream career , like I did.

About the lesson

My personal approach to private tutoring is to firstly establish the level of knowledge my student has in the content, teach and emphasise key points in the specification, test knowledge by providing exam questions and working through difficulties together step-by-step. Towards the end of my lessons I like to help my students consolidate their learning by going through important points and common mistakes people make to allow them to have the best approach when answering exam questions.

The typical length of a lesson would be an hour, however this can be adjusted in the needs of the student.

My experience in tutoring include:
- 2 years in biology and chemistry mentoring in sixth form
- 1 year of teaching mandarin
-2 years of teaching piano

I provide lessons for anyone studying biology and chemistry GCSE's and A-levels.
