About Mikaela
I am a second-semester freshman in college due to the number of credits I earned in high school. Throughout my high school career, I maintained a 4.0 GPA for all four years–I graduated magna cum laude. I hope to one day teach at one of the local high schools in town and further my education to the doctorate level.

My teaching method is to understand what one already knows and then increase understanding before learning something new. The importance of growth is to acknowledge one's strengths before addressing weaknesses. Once everything is taken into consideration, plans will unfold at a steady pace to ensure that one understands not only rules, but can relate it to reasoning. You can lead a student to a door, but you can't make them walk through it. Learning material is ultimately up to the student.
