About Brian
I would like to teach because I believe that mathematics is a subject that is so useful for so many areas of study, and is applicable across so many different career paths. I also believe that students only require a patient and personalised source of support and guidance, and once they have that, with a bit of hard work they can improve and achieve results very quickly.

I am extremely passionate about the subject of mathematics and believe that with practice and the correct support anyone can achieve good results and develop an appreciation for the subject. I have had multiple years of teaching experience, including teaching training and believe that I have developed necessary skills to teach effectively. I believe in a patient and understanding approach towards teaching, and will ensure to tailor my teaching to best suit my student’s ability. As I have very recently been in the same position as my students, I believe that I can provide an empathetic approach and know what works and what doesn’t.
