About Aisha
I am a first year Accounting and Finance student that is currently studying at the University of Derby. During my GCSE's and A'levels I worked for Kumon which enhanced my teaching skills and taught me all the different ways of teaching a child. On top of Kumon I also privately tutor Maths and Music (up to GCSE) and English (up to year 7). I personally find this job very rewarding as with all my students I have helped them achieve their goals, from receiving scholarships to boosting their confidence.

As a teacher I am caring, enthusiastic and excited about providing engaging and challenging learning experiences. My aim is to encourage and support all students to achieve their learning goals. My teaching methodology is to make the content I teach more relatable. In many cases, when a student can’t relate with the material, it’s harder for them to understand meaning. I also try and make my lessons as interactive as possible as I believe that it would be more memorable.
