About Wes
I am a light controls engineer and studied architecture at University of Hartford. I have taught guitar to teenagers who then went on to make their own band. I can teach scales, power cords, sweeps, palm muting, etc.

My teaching method is learning the basics from learning how to hold the guitar, how to hold the pick, how to down pick and alternate pick, etc. Once you learn the basic methods, I will chose any easy songs you would like to play and work on those. I self taught by printing tabs off of internal and playing along with the songs.
