About Rupert
Hi, I’m Rupert. I hold a First-Class BA in French and Portuguese from the University of Bristol and an MPhil in Latin American Studies from the University of Cambridge. A passionate language-learner, I understand the points that English-speaking learners often find difficult and can explain them clearly. I am moving into primary education in London and hold a DBS certificate. I bring patience, careful preparation and a supportive approach to every lesson.

I structure lessons around each student’s goals and, for school pupils, their exam board. We begin by identifying the areas that need most attention, then combine clear grammar explanations with targeted, reading, listening, writing and speaking practice. I explain difficult points in English when helpful and show students how to recognise patterns rather than memorise isolated rules. Lessons normally last 60 minutes and are suitable for KS3, GCSE and A-level pupils, as well as adult beginners and intermediate learners seeking a stronger grammatical foundation.
