About Elizabeth

I’m a recent First Class Honours Politics and International Relations graduate with experience interning for a United States Congressman and working with NGOs in Kosovo, obtained before, during and after my studies.
I offer accessible, peer-to-peer style exam and essay support for both degree Politics and/or IR students, as well as A Level History and Politics.
My areas of interest and study are Security Studies, Political Anthropology and modern Political Theory. I can provide short-notice essay crisis support or longer (affordable) tutoring for specific modules or assessment skills.

About the lesson

Hi! I’m a recent Politics and International Relations graduate with First-Class Honours, including a First in my dissertation. As someone who has recently gone through GCSEs, A-Levels, and university-level study, I understand the challenges students face and how to overcome them. I offer tutoring and support for GCSE, A-Level, and undergraduate Politics students, with lessons tailored to individual needs and goals upon discussion. I have a strong understanding of a wide range of topics, including International Relations theory, political philosophy, UK and European politics, and security studies, as well as qualitative and quantitative research methods. I can support students with developing analytical thinking, exam technique, essay writing, and coursework planning. In particular, as a recent school leaver and graduate, I can help GCSE and A Level students develop key research skills to help achieve desired grades! My lessons are structured to make complex ideas accessible, build academic confidence, and improve performance, whether through regular sessions or short-term revision support. I also have experience teaching as a volunteer English teacher abroad, and I enjoy working with learners from different backgrounds and abilities. Being a recent student myself, I offer a relatable, up-to-date approach to learning that helps students feel supported, motivated, and prepared for success.
