About Andrew
I’m Andy, originally from Scotland and now living in London. I graduated from the University of Glasgow with First Class Honours in Politics and have spent much of my professional life working with, coaching and developing people.
Outside of work, I’m a passionate reader and writer, with a particular love for poetry, language and storytelling.
I’ve always believed that being able to communicate clearly and confidently is one of the most valuable skills a person can develop.
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping people learn, grow and discover what they’re capable of. I also believe that learning should be enjoyable, and that a good teacher should be just as interested in the person as the subject they’re teaching.

I believe the best way to improve your English is to enjoy learning it.
My lessons are relaxed, engaging and built around you. Whether you’re looking to improve your writing, develop your conversational English, prepare for an interview or simply feel more confident expressing yourself, we’ll work together at a pace that suits you.
I draw on my background in writing, communication and coaching to make lessons practical and relevant to everyday life.
I’m a big believer in asking questions, encouraging curiosity and creating an environment where people feel comfortable making mistakes.
Above all, I want you to leave each lesson feeling more confident and capable than when you arrived.
