About Shreya

I’m Shreya Rajesh, a psychology graduate and current MSc Applied Psychology student with a strong passion for teaching and mentoring students. Over the years, I’ve gained experience tutoring a variety of subjects, including Psychology for Years 10–13 and Math & English for Years 3–7. Teaching, for me, is not just about transferring knowledge — it’s about forming meaningful connections with students, understanding their individual learning styles, and creating a supportive environment where they feel confident to ask questions and explore ideas. I’ve always been passionate about teaching because it allows me to connect with students on a personal level — not just as a tutor, but as a mentor and friend. For me, learning is most effective when there’s trust, comfort, and mutual respect in the classroom. I love creating an environment where students feel heard, supported, and confident to ask questions without hesitation. Teaching isn’t just about transferring knowledge; it’s about inspiring curiosity, building self-belief, and helping each student see their own potential. That connection I form with my students is what drives me to give my best every single day.

About the lesson

By analyzing past papers together, I guide students on time management, answering techniques, and critical thinking, ensuring they not only memorize content but can apply it confidently under exam conditions. I also provide step-by-step guidance on difficult topics, regular feedback, and personalized exercises tailored to each student’s strengths and weaknesses. This method builds both competence and confidence, making exam preparation less stressful and more effective.
