About Hannah
Hi!
If you would've asked me ten years ago what I wanted to be when I grew up, the last thing on my mind was teaching. I lacked confidence as a learner and held very little belief in my abilities. It took the support of some amazing teachers to show me my true potential, allowing me to unlock my love of the English language.
I understand that not all subjects are for everyone; we all have our personal passions, but I believe all fields have skills to teach us. I aspire to build a natural inquisitiveness within my students and to build their confidence so that they can perform academically.

A lack of confidence can be a major hurdle during learning. It can induce anxiety and hostility towards learning, making exams feel like an uphill battle. I utilise effective and contemporary techniques to raise confidence to ensure my students reach their potential. Learning should be fun, and I aspire to achieve that in all my lessons.
Although my PGCE is centralised on the primary curriculum, I am well-versed in the secondary curriculum and GCSE syllabus for both the English Language and Literature exams.
Lessons are 60 minutes, at a rate of £15 per hour.
I also offer exam prep sessions between 60-90 minutes at a rate of £20 per hour.
