About Oliver
Despite having recently graduated from the University of Liverpool with a 1st-class MChem degree, deepening my understanding of chemistry was rarely an easy experience. When I was at school, as well as throughout my chemistry degree, there were many tough concepts that took me a while to get my head around. Many teachers and professors couldn't explain things in a way that worked for me, and having to overcome these topics myself was frustrating and time-consuming. I know what it's like to be in those positions, and helping other students overcome those challenges is a fun and rewarding experience for me — no matter the pace of learning.
I have tutored a variety of students aged 14-22 for 3+ years. From my experience of tutoring, as well as from my experience of learning chemistry myself, I've come to believe that with a little enthusiasm and perseverence, every student is capable of reaching their academic goals and beyond.
