Hi! I’m a First-Class Honors Chemical Engineering graduate and former Chemical Engineer, passionate about making chemistry fun, easy to understand, and enjoyable for students. With my background in both industry and education, I know how to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application. Beyond tutoring, I have trained over 100 technicians and fresh graduates to operate a chemical plant, breaking down complex chemical processes into simple, understandable concepts. This experience has strengthened my ability to explain difficult topics in a clear and relatable way, ensuring students don’t just memorize but truly understand and apply their knowledge. I’ve worked with many students, particularly at the O-Level and A-Level stages, helping them strengthen their understanding, improve problem-solving skills, and boost their exam performance. I believe that chemistry isn’t just about memorization—it’s about understanding how the world works! In my lessons, I use real-life applications, analogies, and interactive problem-solving to spark curiosity and make learning engaging. I even create funny mnemonics to help students master tricky organic chemistry concepts effortlessly.
A typical lesson lasts 1.5 hours, starting with a brief overview of the chapter, followed by guided problem-solving, where I encourage students to attempt questions while explaining along the way. This ensures they truly grasp the concepts rather than just rote learning.
As a First-Class Honours Chemical Engineering graduate and former Chemical Engineer, I bring both strong subject expertise and practical insights to my teaching. Over the years, I’ve helped students gain confidence in chemistry and achieve excellent results.
