About Rachel
I am a PhD candidate in Child Health at UCL and Great Ormond Street Hospital. I have a BSc in Neuroscience (High first class) from the University of Manchester, where I received the award for Outstanding Academic Achievement for achieving the highest marks in my cohort. I also have an MSc in Nutrition for Global Health (Distinction) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
In my A-levels, I achieved A, A, A in Biology, Chemistry and Maths and received A-A* in all of my GCSEs.

My lessons are always catered to my student's specific needs and preferences. I will spend time getting to know your strengths and weaknesses, your learning style, and what you want to get out of your tutoring sessions (from just wanting to pass your exam to wanting to follow a career in science). We will create a goal-orientated plan together, which we will frequently check back on to ensure we are on track.
I am enthusiastic, engaging and patient, and I create an interactive and non-judgmental environment so you feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.
I create my own materials for each lesson, which will be available to you after the session through google drive. I utilise various techniques and will select these based on your learning style and preferences.
I can teach any level of Biology up to university level.
